Low-pressure area off E Visayas to dissipate - Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines - A low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Eastern Visayas early
Wednesday, but state weather forecasters said it is not likely to develop into a tropical cyclone like "Cosme" or "Dindo."

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecaster Nonoy About said Wednesday the LPA is likely to dissipate instead of strengthen.

"Magdi-dissipate din ito. Wala tayong nakikitang prognosis magiging tropical cyclone ito (It will likely dissipate. We do not see any prognosis indicating it will develop into a tropical cyclone)," About said in an interview on dzBB radio.

He said the next cyclone will be code-named "Enteng." He noted an average of some 20 cyclones hit the country every year.

Pagasa's 5 a.m. advisory said that as of 2 a.m., the LPA was estimated at 910 kilometers east of Southern Visayas, embedded along the intertropical convergence zone affecting Visayas and Mindanao.

"Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming frequent rains over Northeastern Mindanao," it said.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the east and southeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the southwest and southeast over Mindanao.

Coastal waters throughout the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate except during thunderstorms. - GMANews.TV

It's been raining like hell lately due to LOW PRESSURE AREA that they call. Flooding everywhere around our place really sucks and watching those garbages swimming togethere with dog's sh**. Arrghhh i hate raining.

I have to wait for the rain to stop before i can go to school. I could still remember way back, when i used to sing a nursery song about "rain rain go away" and the rain really stops. (well that's what i thought) hahaha. I want to post this video from youtube about a nursery rhymes that we all used to sing when we were kids. Here it goes. LOL

Dare to care (with my previous batchmate)(Day 9 students of PPTS)

I was browsing on youtube to unwind myself from boredom when i accidentally saw this video which was very familiar to me. whoooa!!...IT was our Dare to care "feeding program" for the families of LAguarta Cebu. We had this feeding program way back last year and we named it "dare to care". We batch-9 / Day 9 (ASN-RN) Applied Science in Nursing student of Philippine Paramedical and Technical School Inc. Cebu Campus in coordination with our Psychology teacher Mrs. Faye Hyacinth Salcedo made this project possible. We had fund raising program concert @ Handuraw cafe Mabolo,Cebu City and the proceeds were used to help the people of LAGUARTA, Lahug Cebu City.

Here are the programs successfully implemented:

**We had a BP (blood pressure) taking

**We thought children how to properly brush there teeth's and the importance of it, and handwashing

**We feed the children who only ate's once or twice a day

**We provided/donated school supplies to a day care center.

**We had a youth orientation on resume writting seminar and job fair

**We provided rice, noodles and can goods to 500hundred families sponsored by: PROSPERO "BUTCH" PETCHAY...

and a lot more..you will be nestled away, it will surely touch your heart, so come on now and play the video. I was also touched when i saw this video again for the 2nd time since last year. I am so proud that i was part of the said program. And i do hope to see more capable people help the unfortunate families out there.

ANd i hope this serves as a reminder that we are capable of helping those unfortunate people through our small ways and means, It doesn't have to be expensive,it doesn't have to be huge; what's important is the thought of helping them and by these actions those people won't lose hope to live there lives in a better way. In order for you to live your life, you will have to hope and that what were giving them "HOPE".
